So for now, have a look at selected items in our inventory as well as information about the shop, and call us or email with questions.

Our mission at International Pro Bike Shop is to provide cyclists with the best products and services available. We believe that cycling should be accessible to everyone, and strive to make our products and services affordable for all.

International Pro Bike shop was established in 1972 by renowned cyclist and triathlete Pete DiSalvo in the back of the Kettering bike shop to service a small but growing racing / high-end market. Pete imported components and exotic frames directly from Europe that were unavailable in the states. He soon moved into his own location, officially opened International Pro Bike Shop., and started a mail order business.
In 1984, Pete moved the shop to its current location in Bellbrook, Ohio, continueing his commitment to high-end equipment and service. As the shop grew, its inventory expanded, and it gained a few more employees.
Roger Schroeder joined the crew in 1991 as a mechanic. In 1999, he became manager and returned the shop’s philosophy to its roots of offering only high end service and parts. On Oct 1st. 2009, Roger became the new owner of International Pro Bike Shop! Roger now handles all aspects of the shop, from management to sales and repairs. His service is noted as the best in the Midwest as his extensive knowledge and experience combine to help each customer find the best possible fit in a new bicycle or to keep his or her old bicycle running strong. Roger also keeps his inventory packed with some of the most exciting and innovative cycling products on the planet to assure that your next visit will elicit some jaw-dropping.
IPro Bike Shop is proud to say that some things never change. After over 40 years in the business, we're still the best place to find bikes that you can't find anywhere else and also one of the few places where the man behind the counter is obsessed with (most) everything bicycles, and has years of riding, racing, and turning wrenches to prove it. If you're looking for something different, you've come to the right place.
Be assured the philosophy of Ipro will stay the same. Come along as we grow and improve the shop to provide the best in products and service.

Tune Up $200
When should I get a Tune Up?
A tune up is a great annual service for riders who put less than 1000 miles on their bike in a year. Its also a good service if you have a bike in the garage that you haven't ridden in awhile and you want to get it up to snuff so you can get back to one of your favorite activities.
When we do a Tune Up, we clean, inspect, and adjust everything on the bike without getting into the internals. We also check for any parts or pieces that may be worn out and in need of replacing, if we find anything we can let you know since parts cost extra.
A tune up includes:
• Derailleur adjustments
• Brake adjustments
• Headset adjustments
• Bottom bracket adjustments
• Wheel bearing adjustments
• Wheel truing
• Thorough cleaning and waxing
Overhaul $300
When should I get an overhaul?
An Overhaul is a good annual service for riders who put more than 3000 miles on their bike in a year. If you put fewer miles on your bike, it’s still a good idea to have this done at least every other year or every few years depending on how many miles you've gone.
An Overhaul includes everything in the Tune Up, but also includes servicing the internals by replacing their bearing and repacking them with fresh grease. All parts are removed from the bike and thoroughly cleaned, inspected and lubed before remounting and the frame gets inspected for damage or possible defects.
An Overhaul includes:
• Everything included in the Tune Up
• Replacing and repacking the wheel bearings
• Replacing and repacking the bottom bracket bearings
• Replacing and repacking the headset bearings
Individual Repairs (estimate)
If you just need to get back on the road, we can can also do minor repairs like:
• Frame alignments
• Brake adjustments
• Derailleur adjustments
• Wheel truing
• Part installations
• You name it

Bicycling doesn't have to be painful. If you are experiencing pain its probably because of an improper fit between you and your bike. There is a lot that goes into sizing a bike that is not immediately obvious. That's why its best to take advantage of our experience and know-how by letting us perform a sizing for you and adjust your bike accordingly. We can also design the best fitting custom frame for the type of riding you wish to do, be it touring, sport or racing. Each style has its own particular needs and performance characteristics and a full fitting will tell you exactly what your bike needs to look like to optimize handling and comfort. Or if you want, we can also tell which stock frames or bikes will work best for your application.
Sizing takes about two hours and is by appointment only. Contact us to make arrangements.
Sizing costs $300.00 but does not include labor or parts that need to be exchanged
(handlebars, stem, etc.) to adjust your existing bike.
If you have us do a full fit session and decide to buy a new bike from us, you can get a $100 discount on your purchase and pay no assembly charge ($250).
If a full sizing isn’t required, we can also fit you better on your existing bicycle. The process will help you feel better and more in control of your ride. We will set seat height and setback, adjust bar and stem to a comfortable height and address other fit issues such as numb fingers, stiff neck, knee pains and saddle issues. This is a simpler process that will get you close and is only $150.
If you need different parts to fit your bike, you pay for the parts and labor to install.
